lpdrestart [-i dev] [-I]

Description  

The utility lpdrestart allows to reactivate printers that can no longer be controlled by css. This program should be used with extreme caution. Using it on active printers may cause reports to be lost. If no options are given, printer 1 will be restarted.

Options

Notes

After the execution of lpdrestart the printer(s) may have to be activated with the css or csu utility program. Lpdrestart will restart printers regardless of their possible on hold status.
