vendor. He speaks your language and he knows the configuration details
of your installation. This makes him the guy you want to speak
with.
When
contacting technical support, please provide the following
information:

serial number and product version. On Unix based systems you can
find this information by execute any of the provided programs
with the -v option, e.g. css -v. On Windows
systems click on the program's Help > About menu. |

system version (e.g.: Windows 98 or Windows NT 4.0, SCO Open
Desktop, SuSe Linux 6.4). |

If
you encounter a problem, the steps or events immediately
preceding it. |
